On July 24th long time friend of Get Lit, Mark A. Nobles passed away after his year and a half long battle with cancer. We will miss seeing Mark at our fairs, and want to honor him by highlighting the American Cancer Society.

They are the only organization working to improve the lives of people with cancer and their families through advocacy, research, and patient support, to ensure everyone has an opportunity to prevent, detect, treat, and survive cancer.
Auntie's Book Bank is dedicated to increasing book access and promoting literacy in communities across North Texas. Focusing on donations directly to students in communities with lower resources and working with community partners to establish lending libraries in book deserts.
